Lahore: Suspect kills love interest’s nephew to postpone her wedding

A man, named Zeeshan, in Lahore allegedly killed his love interest’s five-year-old nephew in an attempt to postpone her wedding.
News sources have reported that the main motive behind the gruesome act was to delay his love interest’s wedding. The murder took place in Lahore’s Badami Bagh area. The body of the victim, going by the name Ayaan, was found hanging from a railroad track.
Police officials have reported that Ayaan was the nephew of the girl Guddu (Zeeshan) wanted to marry. The nikkah was scheduled to take place on the day after the suspect kidnapped the child. The police further stated that both the suspect and the victim were residents of the same area. A case has been registered against Zeeshan, and an investigation is ongoing.
