Lahore to have its own international standard state-of-art entertainment park, design finalized
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved of a design for an international state of the art entertainment park to be built in Johar Town.
Director-General of LDA, Ahmad Aziz Tarar has given directions for the provision of ‘world-class’ facilities at the park.
The pre-qualification work of the park has been completed. It will be built on 124 units, each measuring to 4 to 5 marla, a vast green area, and enough space for parking, besides the state of the art recreational facilities.
The park will cost a total of Rs.330 million.
DG Tarar visited the construction area and was briefed on the matter by Project Director Abdul Razzak Chohan. The park will be spreading over 140 kanals.
The current initial Environment Examination of the project is being carried out. The pre-qualification of contractors has been completed as well, and tenders will be allotted in due time.
What the park will have
The park will have a jogging track, basketball court, tennis court, mini-golf club, badminton, and many other outdoor games. It will also have other facilities like cycling track, water lake with boat facilities, an outdoor or open-air gym, outdoor table tennis, paintball arena, food court, climbing fall, coffee shop, amphitheater, services building, skateboarding, entry gate, and security control room.
