Bollywood megastar Salman Khan escaped an assassination attempt just outside his home, the Indian media has reported. The revelation came to light as the investigation into the gruesome murder of Sidhu Moose Wala continues.

During the Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder investigation, officials found out some shocking details about the plot to kill Salman Khan. Indian media reported that Bollywood superstar got saved by a whisker as a sharpshooter was waiting outside his house.

The Times Network report states that one of the main suspects in the Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, Lawrence Bishnoi, had sent a sharpshooter to kill the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor. The sharpshooter was carrying a small-bore weapon hidden in a modified hockey casing to assassinate Salman Khan.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang was well aware of the fact that the Bollywood superstar will be easy to eliminate when he is cycling in the morning without any security. Their plan was to kill him while cycling in the morning.

However, the day they planned to kill him, he had a Mumbai police escort at his gate as he had to attend a function. This forced the sharpshooter to back off as he feared being caught.
