Pakistani heartthrob and veteran actor Asif Raza Mir is joining HBO’s much anticipated and awaited crime drama ‘Gangs of London’.
America’s premium cable and satellite television network HBO has acquired Pakistani actor for the upcoming series.
Mir is known for contributions in Pakistani industry, that come parallel to a few. His roles in television drama serials Tansen, Choti Choti Baatein, Darwaza, Samundar, Roshni and Ishq Gumshuda have made his name stand out in the industry.
Mir, now taking the international stage and that too in a theme that will surely interest many, is surely very exciting.

Directed by the man behind ‘The Raid’ Gareth Evans, Gangs of London is upcoming British-American action television series set in present-day London. It revolves around the struggle and friction between rival gangs in the 21st-century city.
Evans describes the series as ”a multicultural world of global crime as it intersects on the streets of London.” It follows unrest in the city that is caused after the assassination of a leader of a crime organisation. Since 2000, London has been a hub of crime gangs, like Tamil gangs in Croydon and Wembley have been active such as the “Wembley Boys” and the “Tamil Snake Gang”. The action series is a tape of gang rivalry, transgression and villainy.
With Mir’s appearance, what is more exciting is that Pakistani veteran will be starring alongside Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones), Mark Lewis Jones (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians), Brian Vernel (Dunkirk), Richard Harrington (Poldark) and Emmett J Scanlan (Peaky Blinders).
