Legends Cricket League: Kamran Akmal’s dropped catch sparks a meme fest on Twitter

Things certain in life: death, taxes and Kamran Akmal dropping the easiest catches you will ever see. The Pakistani wicket-keeper batter has been known for putting down   catches ever since making his debut.

Some of the dropped catches by Akmal, which still the fans cannot forget, include Ross Taylor’s catches in World Cup 2011 and when he dropped Mike Hussey three times during the famous Sydney test.

Even after playing for so many years, Kamran Akmal still hasn’t learnt to grab the ball. The wicket-keeper batter became butt of all jokes after he dropped a sitter during the ongoing Legends Cricket League.

It didn’t take too long for Kamran Akmal to drop a catch as he put one down in the second over of the match against the India Maharajas. Here’s the video of Akmal’s dropping another catch:

The India Maharajas defeated the Asia Lions by 6 wickets. Batting first, the Lions put a total of 175 on the board, thanks to Tharanga’s 66 and Misbah Ul Haq’s 44. The Maharajas chased down the target in 20th over of the match. Yusuf Pathan was named Man of the Match for his 80 off 40 balls.
