List of 12 illegal housing societies in Rawalpindi you shouldn’t invest in
A total of 12 illegal housing societies in the Rawalpindi region have been issued notices by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). Furthermore, the RDA has also advised the citizens against investing in such societies without checking their status on its official website.
In the last few years, illegal housing societies have been operating without any fear of the law in Rawalpindi. There are hundreds of such societies.
According to a report, as many as 264 illegal housing societies are currently operating in the jurisdiction of the RDA. Despite the fact that such a large number of housing societies have been identified, no legal action has been taken so far.
The RDA spokesperson claimed that they have initiated legal action against the advertisements and the marketing of illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi. Following are the 12 societies, which have been issued notices:
- New Metro City Gujar Khan
- Tariq Sharif Smart City Gujar Khan
- Prizam Town Gujar Khan
- Capital Valley at Mouza Thalian
- Life Residencia at Mouza Mori Khatran Fateh Jang Road
- Seven Enclave at Mouza Pind Ranjha road
- Mannan City at Mouza Chahan Chakri Road
- Lake View City at Mouza Chahan Chakri road
- Faha Fatima at Mouza Khingar Chakri road
- Park Zameen Town at Mouza Misriot Chakri road
- Hawks Melbourne City at Mouza Bagga Sheikhan Chak Beli Khan road
- Kashmir Valley at Mouza Jollay Chakwal road
