MNA Sheikh Fayyazuddin paid Rs28 million – just 1.7% of his total income of PKR 1.7 billion. Still, he was the fourth-highest taxpayer in the category of the parliamentarian.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan paid PKR 66,258 on PKR 2.5 million income, bringing his effective rate to a mere 2.6%. Moreover, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, paid PKR 1.1 million tax on PKR 7.9 million tax –at a 13.5% tax rate.
