Lt General (R) Naeem Khalid Lodhi clarifies his stance following withdrawal of post retirement benefits [Video]
Former defence secretary Lieutenant General Naeem Khalid Lodhi was one of the many individuals who made hard-hitting speeches at a seminar organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In his speech, the former military official had suggested the four things judicial commission can investigate about the foreign conspiracy and bring the findings in front of the public.

Now, Lieutenant General Naeem Khalid Lodhi in a video message has clarified his position. He confirmed that some of his post retirement benefits have been withdrawn.
According to General Lodhi, his institution may have certain misconceptions regarding him. He hoped that the matter will be resolved soon. He went on to add that he would like to clarify a few things for his friends and his institution.
“There is no doubt that my political affiliations lie with PTI. There are good people in other parties as well but leadership there is based on dynastic politics,” he said.
Regarding the army chief’s appointment later this year, General Lodhi stated that it should be handled by a government with a fresh mandate. Moreover, he made it clear that he doesn’t support PTI’s criticism of Pakistan’s army.
