Major Adeel Shaheed was husband of a widow of another martyred solider

• Major Adeel was a resident of Karachi and died in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion near the border with Afghanistan on Friday.
• He was married to the widow of a martyred soldier.

Words are not enough to express and serenade what our courageous and brave men have done for Pakistan. Their acts of bravery leave us speechless and heartbroken. Although we cannot thank them, enough for their sacrifices but their remembrance will be as lasting as the land they honored.

Here is another fallen hero who has sacrificed his life for his motherland. Major Adeel along with sepoy faraz has embraced shahadat in an explosion near the Afghanistan border on Friday.

They were martyred while controlling a critical operation in Khyber Pakhtun Kha.

Married to a widow of a soldier

Major Adeel was a resident of Karachi and he married a widow of an army captain who also got shahadat couple of years ago. He had one and a half year old twin daughters.

He last visited Karachi during the holidays of Eid-ul-Azha and talked to his father just two days before his shahadat near the Afghanistan border.

As soon as news of his shahadat reached his home, several security officials were deployed around his home in Karachi.

Neighbors of major Adeel spoke very highly of him and expressed profound grief over the shahadat of officer. He was well-respected and loved by the friends and family says, the source.

Great nations never forget their martyrs and always remember them for their sacrifices that cannot be ignored.
