Recently, Maulana Tariq Jameel appeared on 24 News HD’s talk show with host Wajahat Khan. During the conversation, the religious scholar shared the secret of his fitness and said:
I don’t just keep my mind healthy, but I try to keep my body healthy as well.
Pointing his finger towards the gym, Maulana Tariq Jameel said:
I work out regularly at the gym built in my residence. Besides exercise, I also do yoga on alternative days. Many people don’t know this about me, but I have been into fitness and exercise since my college days.
The maulana further shared his views on society and said:
We can’t expect our society to change without making a collective effort. To transform it into a better one, we must follow the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and act upon the teachings of the Holy Quran.
It is pertinent to mention that for the good of the people and the society, Maulana Tariq Jameel also runs a charity organization. When asked about MTJ Foundation by the host Wajahat Khan, he said:
I want to serve the people of my hometown Tulamba as well as the whole country by establishing free schools and hospitals. Furthermore, I want to establish a team so that the foundation can run smoothly even after my departure.
Maulana Tariq Jameel’s recent interview has taught us that the health of both mind and body is vital. It is crucial to nourish both to enjoy a blessed lifestyle.
