Bangwar is a singer, model and now, a PMS officer.

Hazim Bangwar  has been making headlines all over social media after he was appointed as the new assistant commissioner of North Nazimabad.

However, that’s not the only qualification on his portfolio. Bangwar is a singer, model and now, a PMS officer. He grew up in New York, where he attended the Midwood High School, and later moved to Pakistan for only three years. After his short stay in the country, he moved to London to pursue a degree in fashion designing. He finished his degree in “Fashion Designing and Marketing” from AIU London.

Bangwar didn’t just stop there and later got an LLB degree from the University of London. He qualified the PMS exams 2018. The new assistant commissioner’s mother, Feroze Akbar, is an architect, and his father served as a Police General D.I.G in Pakistan.

Music Career

In 2014, Bangwar started getting popularity because of his hip-hop writing skills. He has written for a long list of popular names in the music industry, like Jessie J, T-Pain, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Future, Juelz and Ciara. Bangwar was also offered a deal by Dwayne Michael Carter under Young Money Entertainment as a songwriter/singer.

Hazim released his first single, titled ‘Haram’ in 2019, after years of writing for artists. His song chartered on international music charts, within a week. It ranked 5th in South Korea, 1st in Hungary, 2nd in Egypt and 5th in India. This achievement made him the first Pakistani to reach international charts with an English song. This led to him becoming the face of three major companies as a brand ambassador.

Later in 2020, he released another song titled ‘Hell Ya,’ earning him the 1st spot in Ghana music charts, South Korea and Austria. He also ranked 2nd in France. His first urdu song ‘Tujhko Bhulaya’ came in 2021, along with a music video.
