Meet the man who earned PhD Degree at the age of 91
We’ve all heard that age is just a number, but there are very few who prove the phrase with their actions. A man from Multan has become a shining example of this by earning his Ph.D. degree at the age of 91.
About Muhammad Hanif
According to media reports, Mohammad Hanif Chaudhry is a 91-year-old Ph.D. holder. He earned his Ph.D. degree in the Punjabi Language from Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU).
Hanif had completed his MSc degree in 1970 and MPhil in 2000. He is also an author and has 25 books to his name. He plans on writing more books on Multan of the 20th century.
Speaking to a media outlet in this regard, Hanif said:
My love for seeking knowledge motivated me to become a Ph.D. holder at this stage of my life. I also express gratitude to my children for supporting me along the way.
Another Man who bust all social norms
An inmate from Gujranwala who was sentenced to death became a lawyer while awaiting a decision on his appeal. Rai Muhammad Ayaz walked out of jail as a free man in May last year after the Lahore High Court (LHC) overturned his death sentence. Ayaz has been practicing law since then.
