Meet the Pakistani Who is On a Mission To Offer Fajr in Every Mosque in UAE

65-year-old Pakistani – Mohammad Dawood – is on a unique mission to offer fajr prayer in every mosque across United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The cool grandad travels on his BMW R1200 RT sport touring bike early in the morning. He also has a YouTube channel, In Love with Masajids, where he uploads the videos of him visiting different mosques.
According to him, he has already been to 100 mosques in the Northern Emirates. Dawood is a bike enthusiast and owned five motorbikes in the past but now he has just two.

The 65-year-old plans to offer the fajr prayer in all the 4,000-odd mosques in the country during his lifetime. He started his journey three years ago.
“Long before the crack of dawn, I get into my biking gear and drive down to far flung mosques, often braving heavy fog and chilly winds. Every day it’s a new mosque and a new experience,” he told Khaleej Times.
Dawood said that he often catches people curiously looking at him as seeing “elderly man riding a cool sports bike to a mosque under night skies, miles away from his house” is a rare sight.
He said that he has made some good friends during his journey. The Pakistani grandad added that he always meets the imam whenever he visits a new mosque.

They have been very supportive of my efforts. In fact, it’s their encouraging words that have kept me going,” said Dawood.
He wants his sons and grandsons to carry out his mission when he dies.
