Sami Khan is a talented music producer, composer, singer, and lyricist from Pakistan. He is one of the writers of the PSL 7 anthem. People know Sami from his first song Main Yaad Aaunga.
He has also composed OST of multiple Pakistani dramas, including Ranja Ranja Kardi, Sabat, Babul Ka Angna, and many more. Recently Sami composed, wrote, and sang the OST of the drama Khwab Toot Jaty Hain.
Background
Sami belongs to Peshawer and lived all his life there. After completing his education in Peshawar, in 2005, he came to Lahore and joined the entertainment industry by getting a chance to work with the legendary Shoaib Mansoor.
Awards
The lyricist won the SEMPA award 2019 and the Lux Style Award 2020 for best OST ” Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.” He was also nominated for Lux Styles Award 2019 for best OST, “Dar Si Hati Hai Sila.”
Upcoming Projects
The singer has been working on upcoming projects that include eight dramas, OSTs, and BGM for different Pakistani TV channels, one web series for Zee 5, two movies (Ishrat made in China, and animated film Heera).
Moreover, Sami will release eight songs in 2022. His song Kahani is ready to be released, and his second song Saleeqa will come out on Valentine’s day.
