‘Meri betiyon ke shaadi kisi insaan se karna,’ sub-inspector leaves note before suicide

In a horrifying event, a female sub-inspector committed suicide over a domestic issue. Mary Rose was a mother to two children and was posted at City A division police station.

After police were notified about the issue, an investigation was launched which showed that the departed consumed pesticide pills after she had an argument with her husband. She was immediately taken to Shaikh Zayed Medical College Hospital (SZMCH) and was treated there, but passed away shortly afterward.

Rose’s husband is also serving in the police. Before her suicide, she left a suicide note on a mirror with lipstick, which talked about her daughters. In her note, she apologized to her mother and wished for a quick and painless death. She then asked and wished to get her daughters married to someone ‘who is a human being.’
