Michael Vaughan explains what makes PSL better than other leagues

Michael Vaughan is one of the many foreign cricketers who have been greatly impressed with the quality of cricket in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The former cricketer, once again, heaped praise on the PSL.

Earlier this month, the 47-year-old termed the T20 tournament the second best league in the world. He had said that its not far off the Indian Premier League (IPL).

“Outstanding standard of cricket,” the former English skipper had said.

Now, Michael Vaughan has once again shared his views about the PSL. In a tweet, he explained what makes the PSL better than the rest of the franchise based T20 tournaments around the world.

According to him, PSL ‘has it spot on’. Furthermore, he also mentioned the high quality cricketers in the tournament.

“Fewer games than other tournaments making it a few weeks shorter,” he wrote. Vaughan thinks that due to the short period PSL concludes in, it makes you want to see more of it, which the other tournaments fail to do.

The seventh edition of PSL is about to end with Multan Sultans already having qualified for the final. Peshawar Zalmi will face the Islamabad United in the Eliminator 1 of the event tonight. The winner of the match will face Lahore Qalandars in the Eliminator 2.
