‘Disgraceful’: Michael Vaughan wants Virat Kohli punished [VIDEO]
Here's what the former England's skipper has to say.
Cricket legend Michael Vaughan has demanded strict action against Virat Kohli after he and his teammates lashed out at the South African broadcaster SuperSport.
During the series decider between South Africa and India, Dean Elgar reviewed a decision, after initially being given out. The decision was overturned as the bowl was missing the stumps.
Virat Kohli and his teammates were heard complaining about the decision. The Indian skipper went up to the stump mic and said, “focus on your team while they shine the ball. Not just the opposition. Trying to catch people all the time.”
Vice-captain KL Rahul was also heard complaining: “It’s the whole country against 11 guys.” Ravi Ahswin also blasted the broadcaster: “You should find better ways to win, SuperSport.”

Commenting on the ‘disgraceful’ attitude of Indian cricketers, former English captain Michael Vaughan said: “I think that is disgraceful from the Indians personally.” “Decisions go with you, they go against you, that didn’t go the way they think it should have gone,” he added.
Vaughan went on to add that what Virat Kohli and his teammates did, isn’t the way to act in a game of Test match cricket.
“The ICC have to stamp this down, they have to stamp down on the Indian side, you can’t get away with talking down the stump microphone like Ravi Ashwin has done and the Indian captain has done.”
