The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has announced hundreds of job openings for grades BS-01 to BS-17. There is also a separate quote for Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Sindh, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir (AJK), and former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

The MoD has about 76 vacancies for the sub-inspector (BS-14) across Pakistan. The age limit for these is 18-30 years including the general age relaxation. Moreover, 26 vacancies are open for the position of Assistant Director (BS-17) across the country. The age limit is 22-35 years for this along with five years of general age relaxation.

Other than this, multiple vacant spots have been opened for Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Upper Division Clerk (UDC). In specific, 50 vacancies have opened for the former and five for the latter.

Overall, 340 vacancies from lower to higher positions have been announced by MoD. Below are all the details you need regarding the vacancies:

Who is eligible?

  • All Pakistani nationals
  • Age 18-35 years (refer to the advertisement below for other details)
  • Qualifications may vary for posts (read the advertisement for details)
  • Applicants must fulfill the educational qualifications mentioned and must be within the age limits with effect from the closing date of receipt of applications on 5th September 2022

How to apply?

  1. Individuals can apply online on the MoD’s official portal. Online application forms and fee deposit slips can be downloaded from the portal too
  2. The application fee for BS-7 to BS-16 is Rs. 850, BS-1 to BS-6 is Rs. 500, and BS-17 positions are Rs. 1,400.
  3. The fees can be paid through a billing invoice from all the banks, ATMs, easy paisa, internet banking, jazz cash, UPaisa, and TCS express counters. This has to be done using a 20-digit invoice number which will be generated on the fee slip
  4. Differently-abled candidates are exempted from paying any fee if the disability certificates from the concerned government department are provided

Other details

  • Candidates will not get Dearness Allowance and Travelling Allowance for tests and interviews
  • 0.25 (negative marking) will be deducted for each wrong answer in the test
