The Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced scholarships for students belonging to minority groups.

According to details, under this new program, scholarships worth Rs45 million will be awarded to eligible candidates during the Fiscal Year 2022-23.

Eligibility Criteria:

Those students who have secured at least 50% in annual exams from primary to university level, and have a monthly income of under Rs50,000 can apply for the scholarship awards. Similarly, bank accounts are necessary to ensure smooth transactions of scholarship funds. For those under 18 years of age, it is essential that they have a minor bank account or open a joint bank with their parents.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

Students have to send the filled application form along with documentation to the Ministry before 6th October 2022.

Candidates need:

  • Copies of NADRA B-Form, CNIC (attested)
  • Mark sheets/ progress reports of last annual exams or DMCs (attested)
  • For semester system students, they need to submit the attested copies of mark sheets of the last two semesters.
  • For GPA system students, attested copies of evaluation sheets should be submitted.

Ineligible Students

Those who send incomplete applications won’t be considered. Those students who are already receiving stipends, scholarships, or financial assistance from other sources are ineligible.
