According to the Railway Ministry, they’ve come to terms that this particular component will be implemented on Build Operate and Transfer Basis or Private-Public Partnership if proclaimed feasible once the financial feasibility gets ready.
Likewise, the Havelian-Textile railway track has also been decided to exclude from the ML-I project. It is said that the particular project would be completed on the EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) mode.
Will the loan be mentioned?
However, just like the government of PML-N, the current government has also failed to decide if the loan for this project would be mentioned in the records of the Railway Ministry or the Ministry of Finance. If they choose to take the loan on the records of the Ministry of Finance, the Finance Ministry would be responsible for its operation.
As mentioned by the Ministry of Planning and Development officials, an amendment to the framework agreement of the ML-I project has been recently signed and now the project would be finished in three phases.
