Mohammad Amir Finally Responds To Rohit Sharma’s ‘Normal Bowler’ Comment

Mohammad Amir gets Rohit Sharma out

After five years, Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has responded to Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s comment.

It should be recalled that the Indian explosive batter had called the left arm pacer “a normal bowler” before the Champions Trophy 2017 final. Mohammad Amir then sent Sharma back to the pavilion for a duck in the very first over.

While talking about the Indian cricketer’s comments, the Pakistan fast bowler stated that he didn’t take it seriously, calling it a personal opinion.

Everyone has its own opinion and it is impossible that everyone regards me as a world-class bowler,” he said. He added that there is nothing to feel bad about.

“As a professional, we should not take such things in a negative way. You cannot be everyone’s favourite,” Amir continued.

Mohammad Amir also talked about bowling to Rohit Sharm and termed him a “world-class batsman.” The pacer concluded by saying that the Indian cricketer has struggled against him every time they faced each other.

Amir isn’t the only left arm Pakistani pacer who has been a trouble for Rohit. In the last game between Pakistan and India at the T20 World Cup, Shaheen Afridi also got him out on a duck.
