Momina Duraid to produce Pakistan’s first ever Netflix web-series!

The world’s most popular content streaming platform, Netflix, has recently approved an original web series from Pakistan. The millions of Netflix subscribers will now be introduced to original Pakistani content,  reportedly produced by Momina Duraid.

What do we know about the web series to date?

The details of the web series haven’t been unveiled to the public yet. However, the little that sources have revealed states that the upcoming we series will have three seasons, each having at least thirteen episodes. The crew and cast of the Netflix series hasn’t been disclosed, but the producer of the series has been announced – Momina Duraid.

Association with Netflix is a significant development for the Pakistani media industry. The video streaming site will provide a platform to the immense talent in the country that deserves international recognition. According to reports, the first-ever Pakistani content streamed on Netflix was back in 2020: Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s ‘SITARA: LET GIRLS DREAM.’
