More Details about the cast of Salahuddin Ayyubi series revealed
Earlier, audition for the cast of the series based on the life of Salahuddin Ayyubi were held where many top Pakistani celebrities tried their luck for different roles.
The cast details of the upcoming joint venture of the two big production houses of Pakistan and Turkey on the life of Salahuddin Ayyubi have come to light. The series will have actors from both the countries and it will have three season.
Earlier, audition for the cast of the series based on the life of Salahuddin Ayyubi were held where many top Pakistani celebrities tried their luck for different roles. However, as per details, many top Pakistani celebrities failed to get their desired roles. One of them included famous model Nadia Hussain.
About the auditions, Dr Kashif Ansari of Ansari & Shah Films said: “Out of more than 6,000 candidates, a total of 60 Pakistani artists have got golden tickets in these auditions, out of which 18 are from Lahore and 42 from Karachi.” He also revealed some of the names who made the cut for the much-awaited series Ayesha Omar, Adnan Jilani, Farhan Agha and Ushna Shah.
Now, a popular social media blog – Afiablogs – has shared more details about the cast of Salahuddin Ayyubi series. According to the social media blog, Sajid Shah, Zhalay Sarhadi, Faiza Ahmed Khan, Hina Rizvi, Asad Mumtaz have been casted in the much-awaited series. The rest of the names include:

Junaid Ali Shah of Ansari & Shah Films in an interview had revealed that the series will have three seasons each consisting of 34 episodes. Regarding the idea behind making this series, Dr Kashif Ansari had said: “The idea of making a series on Sultan Salahuddin Eyyubi came because he was a promising and undisputed ruler in the history of Muslims, who is still popular among the Muslims. At the same time, not just Muslims but non-Muslims regard him with respect as well.”
