MSTF announces fellowship program for Muslim scientists under the age of 45 years
This fellowship program would bring numerous opportunities for scientists in the Islamic world.
Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) has introduced the Young Scientists’ Fellowship Program (YSFP) to facilitate young scientists in practical research. This program has been introduced in collaboration with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and COMSTECH.
This fellowship program would bring numerous opportunities for scientists in the Islamic world. MSTF also offers programs in fields like networking, capacity building, and discourse-making. This helps to create chances for young researchers so they become familiar with state-of-art technologies and take advantage of the exchange of ideas, which will encourage the development of science and technology in the Islamic world. YSFP is also a part of MSTF’s such initiatives.
This target aims at tackling significant issues in the Islamic world. However, to achieve the task, the cooperation of scientific and technological institutes is required.
A total of five fellowships will be given to scientists from Islamic countries at NUST under the supervision of faculty members in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, School of Mechanical and Manufacture Engineering, and Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Biosciences. The students can apply before the 15th of September.
The researchers are required to submit their applications. After that, the applicants who hold an influential scientific position and have a problem-solving research proposal will be assessed by the MSTF Secretariat.
Those who pass through this stage will be finally reviewed at the host institute where they will be selected. The program is for young scientists, researchers, and technologists who are under the age of 45 years including those who have a master’s degree and university instructors.
The process of evaluation of the applicants is provided in the registration form. The documents will be evaluated in three stages. The priorities mentioned in the proposal would also be taken into account and the nominees who are eligible will be selected.
