Earning millions through his cooking YouTube channel, Mubashir Siddique inspires the youth

Mubashir Siddique, a resident of Sialkot, is not highly educated, but he is earning millions of rupees a month, through his YouTube cooking channel.

While Speaking to BBC Urdu, Siddiqui, said, “I belong to a small village in Sialkot. Before starting my YouTube channel, I used to work as a production manager in a sports company.”
During the interview, Siddiqui explained the payment criteria for YouTube. He said that advertisers pay money to YouTubers and promote products on their channels. YouTube keeps 45% of the money and pays 55% to the video maker.
While speaking about his monthly earnings, Siddiqui, said, “I am making around three lac per month through my YouTube channel.”
As far as views on the channel are concerned, Siddiqui said, “It will start very slow, and then before you know it, it begins to kick up quickly. This is usually because one of your videos starts to go viral and then that feeds more views to the rest of your channel.”
In a country like Pakistan where digital earning is a developing sphere, it is good to see how people like Mubashir Siddiqui are becoming an inspiration for others.
