A US-based Muslim family has lodged a complaint with local police in Chantilly, Virginia after they were stopped from entering a hospital. The incident occurred earlier this week when the relatives of the Muslim newborn baby were stopped at the entrance of Inova Fair Folks Hospital in Virginia because they looked ”scary”.
According to the details, the two were intercepted by the security guard who forced them to leave saying they looked scary and nobody wants to see them there. Speaking to CNBC, the lady said,
”He screamed at me and tells, um…you’re not allowed to be here” and then said, ”you know you look scary” and my mom said,

”Did he just call us scary?” – said Arwa Zahr, Aunt of the newborn who was covered in a veil.
When Ahmad Zahr, father of the newborn baby, got to know how his parents and sister were treated by the hospital authorities, he decided to take the matter to the upper stakeholders but things got worse. Ahmad Zahr talked to the head nurse and she responded saying nobody wanted to see them there.
”I tried to explain him my side of the story, and then my mother started telling him what happened with her and he said just close your mouth or I might kick you all out”
Speaking to CNBC, Zahr said that the nurse went on saying that the nurses, the stall and the doctors didn’t want to see them there. The incident came as a shock to the family as they weren’t threatening anybody and the mistreatment left them disheartened.
”The matter is more hurtful for us because my parents have once volunteered as a chaplain at the same hospital” – Ahmad said.
