NAB has successfully recovered Rs 30.336 billion in 18 months

From January 2018 to June 2019, NAB (National Accountability Bureau) has recovered a record of Rs.30.336 billion and deposited into the national exchequer, said official sources.
As per an official document, the bureau has initiated a forensic science laboratory. This laboratory has technologies of fingerprint analysis and facilities of digital forensics and questioned documents.
Renowned international and national organizations like PILDAT, Transparency International, Mishal Pakistan, and World Economic Forum commend the efforts made by Pakistan to erase corruption. Likewise, Gilani and Gallup’s survey has revealed that 59% of Pakistani people have faith in NAB.
Previously, Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal also claimed that NAB has recovered a record Rs 30.336 billion from Jan 2018 to Jun 2019 and has successfully deposited into the national exchequer.
He made the remarks while presiding over the Bureau’s Executive Board Meeting (EBM). He said that NAB is working transparently to ensure transparency in the country. He added that NAB’s top priority right now is bringing the mega corruption cases into a logical conclusion. Ensuring ‘Accountability for All’, NAB is determined to bring the country’s looted money back.
”Corruption was the main hurdle in progress and prosperity of the country and bureau was utilizing all available resources to punish the corrupt,” he said.
