NADRA launches ‘Pak ID’ mobile app to allow users to access ID services through smartphone devices
Through this application, citizens can now simply process identity cards and also document applications from the comfort of their homes
In order to make the process more convenient, NADRA has launched a mobile application that allows CNIC applications and more.
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released a beta version of its app ‘Pak ID Mobile App,’ which will give Pakistanis access to their ID services simply through their smartphone devices.

Through this application, citizens can now simply process identity cards and also document applications from the comfort of their homes. Likewise, they can complete the entire application procedure, with ID documents sent to their doorstep. This means that people will no longer have to spend time and effort going to NADRA’s offices.
The Pak ID mobile app also gives users the option to apply for identification papers, including Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), family registration certificates, and other important documentation without having to wait in lines. The newest version of the app includes functionalities like CNIC modification, National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis or NICOP, reprint/loss, renewal, and NICOP modification.
Users can sign up for an account using through mobile phone number, biometric verification, or email address. Likewise, you can also use biometrics like fingerprints or facial recognition to log in. There is a feature of a checklist of all their applications in the app’s inbox that you have access to. The software incorporates interactive data gathering, ICAO-based image capture through the mobile camera, and digital signature capture through the mobile touchscreen.
NADRA’s Pak ID mobile app ensures that Pakistani citizens are able to receive easy solutions to their problems when it comes to applying for identification documents. The software makes it easy for citizens to complete their tasks without having to wait in lines, due to the app’s user-friendly interface and secure verification process.
