t will provide services by walking into people's homes.
NADRA Biker Service has been initiated by Federal Minister for Interior Rana Sanaullah. The service has been inaugurated for CNIC modification and renewal at your doorstep.
The ceremony took place at NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad. NADRA chairman Muhammad Tariq Malik told the minister that initially, the service will be provided in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. However, by the end of this year, it will be expanded to every district of the country.
Talking more about this service, he said that this service is basically a portable NADRA Centre. It will provide services by walking into people’s homes, which would save them from the hassle of visiting a NADRA center. It will also include female registration officers who would use scooters to provide services exclusively for women.
The Interior Minister was also briefed about how NADRA’s operations in Balochistan, Sindh, and South Punjab have been negatively impacted by heavy rainfalls and floods. He also learned that most of NRC’s buildings have been destroyed.
The chairman also told that over 37 million people have been affected by the recent floods. This has also led to the loss of CNICs of the affected people. He further told that the CNIC requirement is a compulsion in government relief activities.
The Interior Minister appreciated NADRA’s initiative. He also encouraged them to introduce more of such practices for service optimization.
The appointment can be booked through NADRA’s call center, mobile application, or official website.
