Neelam Muneer breaks silence over engagement, marriage rumours [Video]

Pakistani actor Neelam Muneer is back on the big screen with her latest film Chakkar. She was seen playing a double role in the Yasir Nawaz’s production.

However, she has become the talk of the town due to rumours related to her personal life. It all started when Neelam Muneer was asked by a fan if she is engaged.

The actress responded with a shy-face emoji, sparking engagement rumours.

She then took to her Instagram account to deny the rumours. “Hi everyone, I’m not engaged or getting married. All the rumours are 100% wrong,” she wrote on her Instagram.

Now, during an interview, the Chakkar actress also was asked about the same. Responding to the question, Neelam Muneer said that it wasn’t a hint.

“I think the audience has a right to know [about my personal life]. They are always very interested in it. I’m also on an app, but not with my name, I comment a lot on others’ profiles. It was a fun banter. I am not engaged or married at all.”

Recently, she also talked about working in showbiz industry despite her Pashtun background. The Dil Mom Ka Diya actress said that being a Pashtun, her sisters are not allowed to share their pictures on social media.

“We aren’t allowed to be in this profession that I am in either. But somehow, I got the permission. I wanted to be a heroine since childhood. To this day, I make sure that I stay within my limits, it’s always better that way. And now my viewers can decide whether they think I have finally become a star.”
