Netflix just got cheaper in Pakistan

Netflix has reduced the prices of both of its Standard and Premium plans by 400 Pakistani rupees.

Netflix prices in PakistanThe global streaming giant, Netflix, has reduced its prices for its subscribers in Pakistan. According to details, Netflix has reduced the prices of both of its Standard and Premium plans by 400 Pakistani rupees.

The Standard plan now costs Rs 800 per month whereas the Premium plan is now priced at Rs 1,100. Previously, the two plans costed Rs 1500 and Rs 1200 respectively.

The global streaming giant reduced its prices in Pakistan and other developing countries to gain more subscribers in the region. According to a report, Netflix made Rs1.2 billion ($7.1 million) in revenue from Pakistan last year.

Furthermore, according to an estimate, Netflix has over 100K subscribers in Pakistan.

In a bid to attract more and more users to its platform, Netflix recently announced to launch a free mobile plan in Kenya.

Netflix users in Kenya will be able to stream their favourite shows for free but with advertisements.

Not so long ago, Spotify also introduced its service in Pakistan. The users are given the option to choose from the different plans or they can sign up free of cost but it includes ads.
