Netflix’s House of Secrets is about the mysterious deaths of 11 people of an Indian family

The whole incident was covered for weeks by the media but nobody was able to figure out what actually happened that day. Later, following a thorough investigation by the police, the investigators revealed finding handwritten notes.

“Suicide, murder or something else? This docuseries examines chilling truths and theories around the deaths of 11 members of a Delhi family,” reads the official synopsis of this docuseries.
In an interview, director of House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths said: This particular case really got my attention. I wanted to know the why and how of it, and I was not satisfied with the information around me. So when Netflix asked if I had a subject for a documentary in mind, this was on the top of my list. I wanted to investigate it myself as this case has so many layers and we haven’t learnt about a single one yet.”
About The Burari Deaths:
The dead bodies of the eleven family members of the Chundawat family was found on 1 July, 2018. One of the neighbours of the Chundawat family, Gurcharan Singh, who used to go on morning walks with one of the deceased, went to their house after Lalit Chundawat didn’t show up for their routine morning walk.
The door of the house was open and Gurcharan Singh found the dead bodies of ten family members hanging and a 77-year-old Narayani Devi was found dead in another room.
