Here are all the upcoming launches
Currently, Pakistan along with the rest of the world is going through tough times due to the coronavirus crisis and Pakistan’s automobile industry is facing heavy losses( The industry was in decline even before the COVID-19 crisis) .
But being optimistic, and looking to the future with a bit of hope, we have compiled a list of cars that are expected to enter the Pakistani market in the near future. This list does not include facelifts or new generation models. It exclusively features brand new cars which have not been seen on Pakistani roads up till now.
This car will be a product of the joint venture between Hyundai and the Nishat group. It will feature a 2.0L engine coupled with a manual or an automatic transmission along with a bolder grille, slimmer headlights, and roofline angled behind the B pillars, as well as strong lines and creases.
It offers a 10-13 km/liter mileage and its prices are expected to be kept competitive so that it may pose a challenge to its rivals in the market.
This car will also be a product of the Hyundai- Nishat venture. It comes with a 5 seat body running on a 2.5L engine with 180-191 horsepower.
The car offers an economic mileage of 27-28 km/liter mileage in cities and 36-38 km/liter on highways. It also has multiple variants ranging from the standard one to a top-of-the-line model. It is expected to cost PKR 1,550,000.
This car comes from a Malaysian company. The Malaysian High Commission announced plans for its launch via a tweet. It features a 1.8 liter turbocharged four-cylinder TGDi engine running on 181 horsepower with an extra 15 Nm (Newton Meter) of Torque at 300 Nm.
X70 earned a 5-star rating from the “Experts Review” line that gauged it for the availability of 6 airbags and for the stability controls it offers. This model is being hailed for being spacious even when it is quite smaller than its rivals.
Recently, a Malaysian-assembled X70 was also gifted to Prime Minister Imran Khan by his Malaysian counterpart Dr. Mahatir Mohammad. Official prices haven’t been released yet but in Malaysia this model costs around Rs25,040,534.
This is another model that the Malaysian carmaker is expected to release. It is powered by a 4 cylinder, 16 valve DOHC, VVT Turbo engine that can attain the maximum Torque of 205 Torque Nm. The fuel capacity it offers is 55 liters for each of its standard and premium models.
With a 7” touch screen monitor it also offers a dynamic entertainment experience. The variants will have options in the transmission department as well with the model being available in a 5-speed manual, 4-speed auto, and 6-speed CVT automatic transmissions. It comes with a price tag of Rs.28, 95,305.
Master Motors plans on launching this SUV in Pakistan this year. It is powered by a 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine with both manual and automatic transmission options. It can seat up to seven people. It is expected to cost around PKR 2.7 to 3.3 million.
Ghandhara Nissan JAC T6
The JAC T6 offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged common rail diesel engine and is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations. The T6 offers a wide array of modern tech ranging from airbags, double-wishbone suspension multi-function steering wheel, a central touch screen infotainment system, and a 4-star CNCAP crash testing rating.
Its previous model was well received by consumers and Gandhara hopes that the JAC T6 will cross the mark set by its predecessor. It is expected to cost Rs 2.6 million.
