Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has turned his criticism arrow on Chief Justice of Pakistan again and commented on the recent developments in Pakistan’s political atmosphere said that,
‘’This is no less than a Judicial Martial Law’’, he said. Addressing media inside an accountability court, Nawaz Said that they requested an exemption from appearance today due to Kulsoom Nawaz’s deteriorating health but their plea was not entertained. He said that this presents atmosphere worse than dictatorship. He criticized Supreme Court’s latest verdicts, calling them baseless and unpopular among people. Former PM also added that protest movements should be addressed rather than turning a blind eye to their demands as the country doesn’t belong to a single person but 22 million people.
Nawaz also said that Imran Khan has reprimanded his MPAs for selling their votes but he should also be reprimanded for indirectly handing his votes to Pakistan People’s Party.
