The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari, has stated that a major crackdown will be launched against all illegal housing organizations selling to overseas Pakistanis through external means.

In an official tweet, the Minister shared the news, saying, “A Major crackdown will be started against all illegal housing societies selling to Overseas Pakistanis through external channels ( digital, expos, overseas offices). No one will be allowed to deceive innocent expatriates . A mechanism will soon be shared to provide better real estate investment channels.”

Presently, the complaints have been received via the following sources:

  • The Prime Minister’s Office,
  • Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and HRD,
  • Pakistan Missions Abroad,
  • The OP Grievance Cell Supreme Court of Pakistan
  • Directly through the post, online complaints management system, e-mail, fax, and personal visits.
