Pak Suzuki Responds To Rumours Of Relaunching Mehran

Pak Suzuki has responded to social media rumours of relaunching its Mehran model in the Pakistani market. In the last few days, there have been rumours that the auto-manufacturer will be reintroducing its popular car.

However, the company has now denied the social media rumours. An official of Pak Suzuki told Business Recorder that they don’t have any plans to relaunch Mehran.

“Mehran is history. The company has no plans to relaunch the car in Pakistan,” said the official. The rumours had started doing rounds on social media amid the soaring car prices in Pakistan.

Suzuki Discontinues Cultus:

Just a few days ago, Pak Wheels, citing sources, reported that Suzuki will be discontinuing its famous car Cultus. “The car will be discontinued in coming months,” the sources told.

The decision to discontinue the Cultus has been taken to promote the recently-launched Suzuki Swift. “Cultus was hanging somewhere between sales of Alto and Swift, and the company wanted the consumers to turn towards new Swift,” the sources added.
