Pakistan Post Announces More Than 4,000 Jobs
Pakistan Post will soon be hiring more than 4,000 people on different posts following the direction of Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Maulana Asad Mahmood.
The federal minister ordered to start the recruit process on the thousands of vacant posts in the Pakistan Post Office Department (PPOD).
According to the Spokesperson of Pakistan Post, more than 600 offices closed during PTI government offices have been reopened on the order of Minister of Communications.
He added that the previous government planned the privatisation of the department and most of the offices in rural areas were closed.
The Spokesperson further stated that due to the initiatives of Maulana Asad Mahmood, a number of services will be available to millions of Pakistani at their doorstep. He announced to digitally restore numerous services including pension, money order and others.
On the other hand, Ministry of Finance raised reservations over the advertisement of such a large number of jobs. According to reports, the matter will be taken up with the Prime Minister Office suggesting to cancel or hold the process of recruitment.
