Pakistan Set To Increase Inbound International Flights From The 1st of July

PIA decides to call back staff deputed in BritainPakistan is set to increase all inbound international flights from the European Union (EU), China, Malaysia, Canada, and the United Kingdom (UK) from the 1st of July.

This is amid a fall in COVID-19 cases across the South Asian country.

This was revealed by the NCOC (National Command & Operation Center) in a notification.

The NCOC revealed that international flights will be increased by up to 40% of the usual volume.

Nonetheless, pre-boarding and on-arrival current testing rules for all divisions will remain the same.

The quarantine requirement for negative COVID-19 cases has been abolished. Nevertheless, the people who test positive for COVID-19 will undergo quarantine as the procedure in practice.

It is pertinent to note that the South Asian nation reduced inbound flights by around 80% in May to prevent a spike in coronavirus cases amid the third wave of the outbreak.

Nevertheless, the authorities had been operating repatriation flights to bring home citizens stuck abroad amid the pandemic.

On the other hand, a ruling on outbound international flights has yet to be issued by the government.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended a ban on outbound international travel for Pakistanis till the 21st of July, 2021.

    However, we cannot do anything about outbound international flights or travelling, as it is controlled by other countries.
