Three new airlines have been looking for a Regular Public Transport permit from the CAA to start flight operations in Pakistan.

Fly Jinnah, Q-Airlines, and Jet Green are the three airlines that will begin domestic operations in the next couple of months.

As per details, the CAA has completed Q-Airlines and Fly Jinnah’s scrutiny, while Jet Green’s inspection is near completion.

After the scrutiny process concludes, the CAA will forward the RPT permit applications to the Aviation Division and Federal Cabinet for final approvals.

With three new airlines, the number of private airlines operating in the country will increase to six.

AirSial, SereneAir, and Airblue are the three private airlines already operational in Pakistan. Moreover, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is the national flag carrier and the largest and oldest airline working in the country.

According to the CAA laws, new airlines must operate domestic flights for at least one year with three aircraft before becoming qualified for international operations.
