Pakistan will soon start manufacturing its own solar panels – Fawad Chaudhry

  • Pakistan will soon manufacture solar panels and batteries that are used on buses claims Fawad Chaudhry.
  • In the upcoming 10 years, electricity wires and poles will not be visible anywhere in the world, he added.
  • Afghan war detracted Pakistan from focusing on science and technology.

Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry claims that Pakistan is going to manufacture its own solar panels. Furthermore, he stated that we will also manufacture batteries that are used in the buses.

Pakistan has recently achieved these two major successes, Fawad Chaudhry added.

According to a media source, he further projected that in the next ten years, electricity wires and poles will not be visible anywhere in the world.

Energy sector to transform entirely:

In the coming three to five years the energy sector will entirely change, said Fawad Chaudhry.

Speaking at the ceremony of Science and Technology in Islamabad, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that Pakistan started off well in the field of science and technology, but the Afghan war detracted us.

First country to work on fiber optics:

In Asia, Pakistan was the first country that started working on fiber optics. However, today everyone laughs at us when we talk about sending our people to space, said Fawad.
