These 4 Pakistani actors will be a part of the upcoming mega Turkish-Pakistan series ‘Salahuddin Ayyubi’

Auditions for Pakistan, Turkey’s upcoming series, Salahuddin Ayyubi, were held in October in Karachi and Lahore.
Six thousand contestants auditioned, including Pakistani celebrities and artists, whereas only 60 were selected for the popular Islamic warrior series. Moreover, 42 candidates were from Karachi, and 18 were from Lahore.
The Akli Films owner Emre Konuk said he understands that it is challenging to play Salahuddin Ayubi, who left his mark in history and all over the world. Usually, portraying the role of such an influential historical figure will be a challenging task for an actor.
However, Four Pakistani actors were successful in bagging important roles in the series: the selected actors are Adnan Jilani, Ayesha Omar, Farhan Agha, and Ushna Shah.
No other play in history has created such a hype where huge names from the Pakistani entertainment industry had come in for auditions. Another spell of auditions for artists who still wish to become a part of the drama will be held in Turkey in January and March 2022.
The historical series will have three seasons, and each season will be consisting 34 episodes. It is a joint collaboration between Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Film and Turkey’s Akli Films.
Salahuddin Ayyubi was a great fighter and founder of the Ayyubid Dynasty. He defeated the crusaders and recaptured Jerusalem in 1187. Salahuddin’s sultanate spanned across Syria, Egypt, the Jazira (Upper Mesopotamia), the Hejaz (western Arabia), Yemen, parts of western North Africa, and Nubia.
