Here’s How Pakistani Cricketers Have Performed During The Online Fitness Test
Despite the lockdown, Pakistan cricket team players have still managed to maintain their fitness.
According to sources, Sarfaraz Ahmed, T20I captain Babar Azam, opening batsmen Shan Masood and Imam-ul-Haq have emerged as one the fittest players during the Pakistan Cricket Board’s online fitness test.
It is pertinent to mention that former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has long been criticized for his fitness. However, the Karachi born cricketer hs significantly improved his fitness this time.
Furthermore, other senior cricketers such as Azhar Ali, Mohammad Abbas, Asad Shafiq, Imad Wasim, Hasan Ali, and Mohammad Amir have also shown excellent results.
Sources reveal that the coaches have expressed their satisfaction over the fitness test results of all the players. The final report of the fitness test will be forwarded to chief selector-cum-head coach Misbah-ul-Haq.
Meanwhile, Abid Ali, Yasir Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi’s fitness tests have been set for next week. PCB became the first cricket board to hold an online fitness test for its players due to the restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
