Pakistani expatriate murders nine family members over suspicion of wife’s extra-marital affair

A Pakistani expatriate working in Saudi Arabia killed five nine family members of the family including his wife, two children, mother-in-law and two sisters in law. The incident is suspected to be a case of honor killing as the husband took the extreme step over suspicion of his wife’s extra-marital affair.
The suspect, identified as Ajmal, is an expatriate currently residing in the Kingdom. He gunned down his wife’s family and later set their house on fire on doubts of her being involved in an extra-marital affair.

Ajmal gunned down five people including his wife, mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law. His brother-in-law and father-in-law were also injured in the incident. After killing them, the suspect, his brother and father locked the other people in the room and set the house on fire.
Initial investigations:

As reported, the initial investigations reveal that the suspect first opened fire on his wife. His mother-in-law and sisters-in-law came forward to save his wife, Kiran, but he continued to shoot mercilessly, killing them all.
His father and brother also opened fire at the people who had gathered outside the house, ending up injuring a woman and a child. Multan City Police Office (CPO) Imran Mehmood informed that the suspect and his father have been arrested while his brother is still at large.
