Pakistani films box office collection: Here’s how local films performed on Eid

Pakistani films have once again performed extraordinarily, breaking all previous records. The three local films which were released on Eid Al Adha included Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad, London Nahi Jaunga and Lafangey.

All these three movies had a star studded cast and cinema enthusiasts were excited to watch them on the big screens. Despite the heavy rains, the Pakistani films exceeded box office expectations.

Here’s how the three movies released on Eid Al Adha performed at the box office:

Lafangey

After being initially banned in the country, it was eventually cleared to released following full board review at Islamabad Censor Board. However, the movie couldn’t perform so well as it earned only PKR 6 million on the first two days of Eid.

Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad

The Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan’s starrer was one of the much awaited Pakistani films and the box office numbers are as good as one would expect them to be. Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad earned PKR 1.40 crore on Eid day 1, followed by 1.70 crore on day 2, earning a total of PKR 3.10 crore in Pakistan.

London Nahi Jaunga

Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed’s film proved to be the biggest hit of Eid Al Adha. After earning 2.15 crore on day 1, London Nahi Jaunga also earned big on the second day and raked in PKR 2.55 crore, taking the two days total to 4.70 crore.
