Video: Visually-impaired Pakistani teenage girl steals the spotlight at Britain’s Got Talent!
She hopes to make it to the finals!
The 14-year-old British-Pakistani singer, Sirine Jahangir, has become the latest Britain’s Got Talent sensation. Her first performance on the world’s biggest talent hunt show got her a standing ovation from the judges and the audience.
Sirine is hopeful to make it to the finals.
Jahangir started losing her ability to see when she was five. By the time she was 10 years old, her eyesight was completely gone.
However, none of those obstacles stopped this talented and inspirational girl from achieving remarkable milestones.
While speaking to a news outlet, Sirine’s father Kafeel Jahangir said that on his trips to the United Kingdom, the late Junaid Jamshed taught Sirine music and sang with her.
Sirine is the granddaughter of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Spokesperson on Trade and Investment in the UK and Europe Sahibzada ‘Chico’ Jahangir, and Junaid Jamshed was her uncle.
This is not only what the little star does. She is an embodiment of courage, compassion, and bravery. With battling so much on her own, every Monday she visits a school to teach a 6-year-old boy who is battling with the same medical condition as hers.
