A new startup airline, AirSial, founded in 2017, is set to commence its flights from the 25th of December. On Saturday, it welcomed its first of three aircraft of the series Airbus A320-200s, after it made a long journey from Goodyear, Phoenix to Karachi.

Due to the airbus A320’s range limitations, it had to make three stops; New Hampshire, Ireland, and Egypt.

As the new AirSial Airbus A320 reached home, it received a warm welcome. A large crowd of executives, media, and a band had gathered to greet the new aircraft.

The pilot of the airbus, Steve Giordano,  updated people throughout the journey, via Twitter.

The world-renowned Pakistani cricketer, Sohaib Malik, who hails from Sialkot, took this opportunity to welcome the new AirSial Airbus A320 to its home.

AirSial has a headquarter in Sialkot, Pakistan. The local airline is owned by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote air travel to and from the Sialkot region-a major industrial city in Punjab.

It plans to initially operate domestic destinations within Pakistan from their main hub at Sialkot International Airport. Flights will start with routes in cities such as Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Islamabad.

The airline has been planning to launch international operations in countries including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Malaysia.
