Pakistan’s ‘Allahyar and The Legend of Markhor’ Wins Best Feature Film Award

The much loved and celebrated animated film, Allahyar and The Legend of Markhor won the Best Feature Film Award at South Asia International Film Award – making Pakistan proud.

As an incredible revival for Pakistan’s dying animation and fiction industry, Allahyar and The Legend of Markhor (AYLOM) stunned the public with its breathtaking visuals, stunning scenery and incredible storyline. The movie was quite passionately celebrated by the Pakistanis themselves. While kids and adults alike loved it and appreciated the masterpiece, the international platforms have also recognized it for all the good reasons.

After winning its first international award in California, the movie has been declared the Best Feature Film at the recent South Asian International Film Festival. And the best part about it is that this particular award is an audience choice award. Hence, it is a bigger achievement that the audience itself chose the movie.

Celebrating the achievement, the team said that they are looking forward to bringing more moment of pride to Pakistan.

The movie featuring the endangered Markhor is sketched to teach children the significance of wildlife preservation.
With being a stunning eye catch and an absolute treat to watch, the movie talks about a significant issue which is urgent yet less talked about in Pakistan.
