In a significant progress, Pakistan’s manpower export increases by 30%

The new stats show how Pakistan’s manpower export has increased over time. The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development has successfully sent about 568,464 Pakistanis to foreign countries for the purpose of work and various job assignments during the past year.

The figures show a significant rise as compared to the numbers of 2017. As reported by APP, 424,867 Pakistanis were sent outside Pakistan during the corresponding period in 2017, compared to 2018’s 568,464.

$30 million collected from overseas Pakistanis under the scheme ‘Pakistan Banao Certificate’

The current government of Pakistan has collected the amount of $30 million from the Pakistani’s who are living abroad under the scheme “Pakistan Banao Certificate” (PBC). The initiative of this scheme was taken by the government of Pakistan earlier to lure investments from overseas Pakistanis.

According to the special secretory finance and official spokesperson, Umar Hameed stated that Pakistan Banao Certificate is the script-less matter that does not need any extension.

“The scheme is continuing“, said the Finance Ministry spokesman, he further stated that the only advertisement campaign ended on 30th June 2019.

Pakistan Will Be Digitally Connecting Workforce Portal With UAE

Ever since taking the charge of Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfiqar Bukhari better known as Zulfi Bukhari has taken numerous steps to facilitate overseas Pakistanis. Now, the Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis has taken one more step to facilitate the country’s workforce.

The Special Assistant to PM, in a meeting with UAE’s officials, has agreed on digitally connecting the country’s workforce portal with the United Arab Emirates.

Zulfi Bukhari in a meeting with Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization of the UAE, Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, proposed the idea. Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli agreed to the idea proposed and the two ministers also agreed on taking further steps to implement the idea. (READ MORE HERE)
