Passenger kills taxi driver during an argument in Lahore

A disturbing event has occured in Lahore recently in which a passenger murdered an online ride-hailing service driver during an argument. According to details, the police has found out that the killer was named Waqar who hired a cab to reach his destination.

Upon the arrival of the taxi, the driver named Fakhar and Waqar got into a heated argument. The argument quickly turned violent when Waqar pulled out a revolver that he had been carrying with him and shot Fakhar, killing him.

Waqar has been taken under the police custody and the authorities have filed a complaint against him. An extensive investigation is being launched to seek justice for the victim.

In a similar case that happened in 2021, an online cab driver went missing from Lahore. His body was discovered days later. A suspect named Mohsin was also taken under custody in this case. Further investigation led to the arrest of the prime suspect who was named Tahir. Tahir revealed that he too had shot the driver over anger.
