Pat Cummins in Pakistan

Australian captain Pat Cummins is grateful for the “brilliant hospitality” from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the cricket fans in Pakistan. The Aussies beat Pakistan in the third and final test match of the series to clinch the series 1-0.

Before the start of the series, there were lots of security concerns about the historic series. However, thanks to the brilliant efforts of the security forces and the government, everything went smoothly.

This visiting team was spotted golfing, enjoying barbecues and of course the fantastic tea. Australian players continuously uploaded Instagram stories about their wonderful time in Pakistan.

Furthermore, traditionally known for their aggressive nature, the Baggy Greens developed special bond with the Pakistani players. Players from both the teams were involved in friendly banter both on and off the field.

The fans also had a special role to play in making the visiting team feel at home. There were numerous posters during the three match series which caught the attention of everyone, especially the players.

Now, Pat Cummins has expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Australian cricket team for everything the PCB and the fans did for them. He took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts about the “special series.”

The fast bowler wrote that he is satisfied with his team’s performance to win the series after more than two tough weeks of test cricket. “Huge thanks to PCB and all over here in Pakistan for the brilliant hospitality,” he concluded.
